Our Mission
To facilitate the development of a culture of reading so as to improve the quality of education in previously disadvantaged schools.
Our Vision
To see teachers in the schools in Daveyton and Etwatwa with adequate resources and support, thereby enabling the children to succeed at learning to read so that they then read to learn.
Our Goal
To provide an efficient library and resource with updated culturally appropriate books to primary and inter – senior schools in the Daveyton and Etwatwa townships.
• To motivate teachers and children by supporting reading initiatives.
• To provide ongoing incentives for top borrowers and top readers.
• To promote the project thereby increasing awareness and broadening the network of support.
